While there is no question that sandals can be comfortable, fun and stylish, the fact remains that not all sandals go with all outfits.  It is possible to wear great sandals with the wrong outfit and your entire look can be ruined.  On the other hand, the right pair of sandals can really complement an outfit.  In fact, they can take a rather dull or unnoticeable outfit and turn it into an eye-catching ensemble.  How do you know what sandals work with what outfit and what sandals can lead to a fashion faux pas?  Consider the following suggestions when making your decision about wearing sandals with your outfit.

Finally, always make sure that your sandal color matches or compliments the clothes that you are wearing.  Women tend to have far more color choices than men when it comes to sandals, but men tend to be able to get away with wearing earthy and dark toned sandals no matter what they are wearing.  Men, however, should consider the occasion that they are dressing for if they are considering sandals.  While women have very elegant and classy sandals that they can wear, men are very limited in their dress sandal options.

Sandals are always a great option when dressing for almost any occasion.  They offer a level of comfort and even sex appeal not offered by any other style of shoe.  Keep the occasion, style and coordinating color scheme of your outfit in mind when deciding on sandals and you can’t go wrong.
